Careers at SI Robotics
We’re not hiring employees. We’re onboarding pioneers.
SI Robotics is building what others say is impossible: a full-stack humanoid robotics platform, made in Europe, engineered for hyperscale, and powered by reinforcement learning and proprietary bionic actuators. Our mission is to solve the global labor crisis through general-purpose robotics. We design every component ourselves—from motors to firmware to data pipelines—because that’s what it takes to win.
We don’t optimise for comfort. We optimise for speed, depth, and ambition. If you’ve been waiting your whole life to work on something that truly matters—this is it.
Role: VR Dataset Recording Operator (Humanoid Robotics)
While the world sleeps, we’re capturing the motion primitives that will define the kinetic intelligence of the 21st century. This role puts you at the centre of a revolution in reinforcement learning. Every gesture you make becomes part of our motion library—the raw data from which our bots learn to lift, walk, balance, and recover.
Your mission
Wear state-of-the-art motion capture suits (Vicon + haptics)
Execute scripted physical workflows (e.g. package lifting, palletising, machine loading)
Generate hundreds of thousands of motion trajectories per month
Calibrate and co-design new motion capture protocols
Work closely with ML, biomechanics, and controls engineers to annotate edge cases
A dancer, athlete, physiotherapist, or just deeply aware of your own movement
Someone who values precision, rhythm, and repeatability
Comfortable performing hundreds of times to generate variation in a dataset
Create the foundational dataset for humanoid reinforcement learning by acting out thousands of industrial micro-tasks in our full-body motion capture studio.
Why it matters
Tesla employs motion actors to train Optimus. We’re building a motion dataset 10x larger and more diverse. This is the ImageNet moment for robotics—and you’re the camera.
